27th August 2008 Windsurfing: WSM Wind Direction: W Wind Stength: F4-5 Surf / Sea State: Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: Max Speed: Distance Covered: What a session, not because of the conditions, but at 3pm the Red Arrows turned up to do a display, so i sailed about in the middle of the bay with Jets doing all sorts of stuff right above me,& they seemed low, passing right over the top of me, looking to the top of your rig & seeing the Red arrows aint something that you see every day & it was a wicked buzz.Found some footage on a local paper web site & there i am sailing about underneath them,quality..... The sailing was ok picking up enough to change down to 85lt board with plenty of ramps about for jumping... Also got chatting to a guy called Pete who normally sails knapp but had a good time at Wsm. 5 stars cus of 8 jets flying by at high speed & low..... |
